Modded 133 Water & Energy Hydra

The Hydra is a Legendary Assault Rifle in Fortnite Save the World. It belongs to the family of Hydraulic Weapons.

This modded Hydra features qualities of two weapon types; in ways, it performs like an Assault Rifle, but has considerably higher knockback. Also, its burst firing makes its likeness to Shotguns apparent, but it has a better range and can deal more focussed damage.

At power level 133, this Energy and Water Hydra is a supercharged weapon, meaning that it is one of the most powerful weapons you can get your hands on in Fortnite STW. To supercharge one of their Fortnite items in-game, a player needs to apply a Weapon Supercharger to their weapon of choice. Weapon Superchargers can be obtained as rewards from Ventures, a seasonal feature of Fortnite Save the World.

This PL 133 Hydra is equipped with two forms of elemental damage, meaning that is part of our Modded Weapons collection. It is one of the select few supercharged, double element weapons in Fortnite Save the World. It has an energy element, which deals regular damage (75%) to all elemental enemies except Physical enemies, who will receive full damage (100%). Wood, Stone and Metal structures will also receive full damage (100%). Additionally, its water element is most effective against Fire enemies, to whom it deals full damage (100%), but it also does double damage (200%) to structures made of Stone. Water enemies will receive regular damage (67%), and Nature enemies will receive reduced damage (25%).

It uses Shells 'n' Slugs as its form of ammo, and each shot fires a burst of three pellets.

The Fortnite Hydra was once obtainable as a reward for completing the "Fortnite for a Fortnight" quest. This was available to play during the Survive the Storm event.
